FAQ’s

I already have a website, why do I need this?
If you haven’t noticed, the first results displayed on Google are actually local place pages – not websites. So if you’re not in this first list of results, it’s unlikely for your business to be found on local search.

I already claimed a listing on Google.
Many businesses claim a listing, but few optimize it. We “feed” Google your profile data, which then serves as a “citation”, validating your business information. This combination, along with your customer ratings and reviews, helps get your Google Place page to the top of search results.

All my business comes from word of mouth.
Lots of service providers build their business on word of mouth referrals, but in today’s ever skeptical society, the first thing a referral does is look you up on the Internet. If your profiles are not found, or if they find something less than positive, it’s unlikely the referral is coming your way.

I don’t have the time to do all of this.
We make it easy – your only commitment is to help us get the most accurate data about your location, address and other details, and let us do the rest.

How does local search behavior work?
With local search, the ROBO effect is paramount – research online, and buy offline. Starting with an online search, your potential customer is looking for either a product or service (but not necessarily a brand name). Often, they see profiles and listings matching both their search and local geography. They then click through to your profile, reading your business information. Once they find out what you offer, they’ll call or come in and visit your store.

What advantages do I have over some of the online-only retailers?
Remember, the one thing you have over e-commerce websites is your physical location! Local search plus your location equals a huge competitive advantage, giving your business what it needs most: online visibility and foot traffic.
